The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department arrested a man listed as a sex offender Wednesday for failing to notify officials of his new address.
According to reports, on Nov. 18, LCSD arrested Jacquioan Lamont Young, 42, and charged him with one count of sex offender registration failure.
Young reportedly moved from his registered address without properly notifying the sheriff’s department.
He is being held at the Lafayette County Detention Center on a $2,500 bond.
