An Oxford man was arrested recently on a felony domestic assault charge.
According to the Oxford Police Department, officers responded to the 1000 block of Park Lane in reference to a disturbance.
After an investigation, Master Sitthiprasert, 20, of Oxford was taken into custody.
A domestic violence offense becomes a felony when an object or strangulation is used in the assault.
He was taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he is being held pending bond.
