On Tuesday, the Oxford Police Department responded to Walmart for a subject who had an outstanding felony warrant for embezzlement.
John Rue, 32, of Water Valley, was taken into custody and transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center.
On the same day, he went before a Lafayette County Justice Court judge and received a bond of $2,500 dollars.
