Oxford Man Arrested After Alleged Threats Made to Employer

An Oxford man who was allegedly mad at his employer now faces a felony charge.

According to the Oxford Police Department, on March 10 officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Anderson Road for a disgruntled employee making threats towards their employer.

After investigation, Derick Brown, 54, of Oxford was arrested and charged with Making Terroristic Threats.

Brown was taken before a Lafayette County Justice Court judge for his initial bond hearing and issued a $30,000 bond.
