A warmish and dry work week is ahead for us here in Lafayette County.

The high is expected to hover around 80 degrees today through at least Sunday.

Little to no rain is expected for most of the week; however, there is a slight chance for some showers toward the weekend.

The forecast doesn’t vary much from day to day this week.

Today will be partly sunny with a high of 80 degrees and a low of 62 degrees.

Tuesday will be a bit clearer, with a high of around 81 degrees and a low of 61 degrees.

Wednesday’s high will be 80 degrees under mostly sunny skies and a low of 61 degrees.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday also all have expected highs around 81 degrees, but there is a 20 percent chance of some showers for each day, which could cool things down a bit on Sunday, which is showing an expected high of 79 degrees.

The extended forecast is showing possible more fall-like temperatures next week, with a high around 65 degrees on Halloween.
