Critically acclaimed Tom Krell’s Total Loss a big win for music fans

Experimental pop producer and singer Tom Krell, who goes under the moniker How to Dress Well, hits Proud Larrys’ tonight (November 26). His debut album, Love Remains, came out in 2010 and received a score of 8.7 and the Best New Music title from Pitchfork Media. He was also selected as one of 40 Best Bands of 2010 by Stereogum, and Spin magazine gave the record eight out of 10 stars.
Krell then signed a deal with Weird World Records, an imprint of Domino Records, and in September 2012 released his his sophomore effort Total Loss, which also received much critical acclaim, including the Best New Music designation from Pitchfork, whose Ian Cohen called the album “a work of poignant and devastating art.”
