Freeze Discusses Missouri Loss and Egg Bowl

On Monday Ole Miss football coach Hugh Freeze held his weekly press conference. Freeze addressed the loss to Missouri but also said the team is looking forward to the Egg Bowl against Mississippi State which will air on ESPN Thursday night.

Freeze said that he believed after watching film of the Missouri game that there were some missed opportunities by his team but that it’s in the past and there’s no choice but to move forward and improve. He also praised the play of junior Cody Prewitt on the season that he has had. Prewitt currently has five interceptions on the season and is looking to improve that number on Thursday night against Mississippi State
