UPDATE: Winter Weather Advisory 6pm Tuesday to 6pm Wednesday

According to the National Weather Service in Memphis, Tenn., Lafayette County can expect snow/sleet/ice accumulations of one to three inches between 6 p.m. tonight until 6 p.m. Wednesday.
NWS states that winter weather, mostly snow, will move across Mississippi tonight into portions of southwest Tennessee after midnight. Additional snowfall accumulations are anticipated, some of which could be significant over northeast Mississippi.
The following Mississippi counties are included in the Winter Weather Advisory starting tonight at 6 p.m.: Marshall, Tate, Panola, Lafayette, Tallahatchie, Yalobusha, and Carroll.
These weather conditions will mostly likely impact travel in the area, as bridges, overpasses and roads becomes iced over.
