Checker's Demolition Makes Way for New Oxford Hotel

Demolition of the former Checker’s location at the Four Corners intersection off the Oxford Square (University Ave. and South Lamar Blvd.) began today to make way for the Chancellor’s House Hotel.
The hotel will accommodate 32 beds, underground parking, and plenty of event space just three blocks south of the Square.
Once the original structure is removed, construction of the new hotel is estimated to take up to 13 months.
