Oxford Schools Offer Students Survey, Parents Must Opt Out in Writing
The Oxford School District will offer the Pride Survey to students in sixth, eighth, and 10th grades beginning April 9.
Oxford school students are encouraged to participate in the voluntary student survey, which measures the overall learning environment at both Oxford Middle School and Oxford High School.
The student survey asks questions based on teacher/student relationships, school safety, student engagement, bullying, and drug and alcohol use. All survey responses are anonymous.
If Oxford School District parents do not want their middle school or high school student to take the survey, they must inform their child’s school in writing before Wednesday, April 9. A copy of the survey will be available in the school principal’s office if parents would like to review the survey.
