139th Running of the Preakness Saturday

This weekend California Chrome will continue his chase for a triple crown with the 2014 running of the Preakness.
On Saturday, three-year old thoroughbred colts will run the Pimlico Race course in Baltimore, Md. This race is the gap- bridger between the Kentucky Derby and the Belmont Stakes. The winner takes home a purse worth $1.5 million. Post time set for 3:30p.m. CST.
In this139th running of the Preakness, Chrome seeks his sixth major victory and a chance to head into the Belmont as a front-runner for this year’s Triple Crown.
Two competing horses you might want to keep an eye on are General A Rod and Bayern.
