Sen. Thad Cochran

Recent Ole Miss graduate Gus Maples, who is active in the Cochran campaign, sent us this email reminding citizens how vital it is that they vote in the June 24 runoff election. We concur and thought his message was well worth repeating:
Friends,
I’m not a big fan of chain emails, so I will try to keep this short, but it is still important. This is about the future of our state.
On June 24, there will be a runoff election for US Senate between Thad Cochran and Chris McDaniel. It will be even more important than the first vote because runoff elections usually don’t have a high voter turnout so every vote will matter – especially yours. At this point, everyone has their own opinion about who should win, but I’m attaching two links from respected Mississippi political analysts who provide more data about why our Hospitality State’s future success absolutely depends on Thad Cochran, the man who has never embarrassed us and always voted for us.
Chris McDaniel said at the beginning of his campaign, “I’m not going to do anything for you [Mississippians].” However, Senator Cochran believes Mississippi is worth fighting for. Please click the link below to learn how you can request an absentee ballot from your Circuit Clerk, and be sure to vote for Thad Cochran, the man who always votes FOR us!

Thanks for taking the time to read this. We’re all responsible for the future of Mississippi – let’s keep that future bright with Thad.
