Snow Biz and Ink Spot, which have been icons on East University for many years, are moving.
Both businesses must vacate their current locations by July 1.
Ink Spot has built a new two-story printing operation across from The Beacon. Snow Biz will re-locate to the Mid-Town Shopping Center.
The moves are required AutoZone’s purchase of the current lot on Univeristy Ave. Contrary to what many residents think, Super Tan, located next door to Ink Spot, is not affected by the purchase and will remain at its current location.
