Local Law Enforcement to Host Youth Fishing Rodeo

The Lafayette County Law Enforcement Officers Association and the City of Oxford are hosting a Youth Fishing Rodeo on September 13, 2014 at Lake Patsy. This is free to all kids ages 15 and younger.
Participants will only need to bring their own fishing pole and tackle, bait will be provided.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and fishing will start at 8:00 a.m. Trophies will be awarded to 1st through 5th place winners in each of the three age groups. Every child fishing will receive a prize. We will have hot dogs and drinks.
Other sponsors and supporters include the U.S. Forestry Commission, Mississippi Department of Wildlife & Fisheries and the Oxford Park Commission. Come out and join us for a fun filled morning of fishing and fun.
