The offense continued to dominate from the second half of the Boise State game into the Vandy game.
Bo Wallace and company score a touchdown on the first posseson of the game. Soon after, the Rebels tacked on two field goals on back-to-back drives.
Ole Miss’ receiving core and running backs each had a successful day, and the defense showed up again against the Commodorees, led by Robert Nkemdiche, CJ Johnson and DT Shackelford.
Coach Hugh Freeze used four different quarterbacks during the game, and the backups were able to hold their own against the ‘Dores defense after Wallace left the game.
In the second half, Ole Miss added three more scores, and Vanderbilt was able to scratch a goose egg off the board with a field goal.
