An inspiring day of football, music and Rebel spirit. All photos by Andy Knef
It was a heck of a win against Louisiana Lafayette yesterday but the Pride of the South Band, featuring the Rebelettes, was not to be outdone.
Enjoy these images of another great performance. Most bands can perform the standard march tunes, but the Pride of the South Band was rocking to the Seattle sound of the Foo Fighters.
It was awesome and here are some highlight images:
Love that Seattle sound.
These talented musicians carry the tune.
But the drums lay down the beat.
And the band plays on.
Thanks to the band, everyone is having a good time.
Perfect organization and precision.
Even during the game the band kept the Rebel faithful cheering.
The entire performance was dedicated to this fine gentleman.
The drum section was on time, as always.
A proud member of the Band of the South.
This young lady can make a baton dance in the wind.
The beauty and pageantry of the flags is inspiring.
Let’s kick it up Rebelettes!
The Star Spangled Banner was performed with moving virtuosity.
This Rebelette has put it all into her performance.
Loving his work for the band, but a little tired.
The color, patriotism and pageantry can’t be matched.
Music and motion blend perfectly together.
Let the music begin.
