Mississippians Vote for Hunting Rights, U.S. House, Senate Reps Today

It’s Election Day across America, and Mississippians are heading to the polls for three major elections.
In the U.S. Senate, incumbent Republican Thad Cochran, who was elected in 1978, is challenged by Democrat Travis Childers.

For the U.S. House of Representatives election in the First District, Republican incumbent Alan Nunnelee is challenged by Democrat Ron Dickey.

Along with the two federal races is a statewide ballot initiative, HCR 30, which would establish the right to hunt, fish and harvest game animals.
