Stan Sandroni Inducted Into Delta State Hall of Fame

The late Stan Sandroni, radio broadcaster and sideline reporter for Ole Miss Athletics, was inducted into the Delta State University Hall of Fame Nov. 14.
The Delta State University National Alumni Association hosted its 2014 Alumni Awards Gala at the Bologna Performing Arts Center in Cleveland, Mississippi. Among the 11 inductees to the Hall of Fame, Sandroni was inducted for his years of contribution at the university.
Sandroni began calling games for the Delta State Statesmen and Lady Statesmen in 1971. He was the voice of Delta State Athletics for 17 years, and in 1988 Sandroni became the sideline reporter for Ole Miss athletics.
For the next 25 years, Sandroni reported from the sidelines and was the voice of the Rebel Yell Hotline, a radio show on the Ole Miss Radio Network.
Sandroni’s wife, Glenda, and son, Christopher, accepted the award, followed by an acceptance speech from Glenda Sandroni.
