Oxford Daily Crime Report: Thursday, Dec. 11
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: five motorist assists, four disturbances, three animal complaints, two suspicious persons, two alarms, two simple assaults, two harassing phone calls, an ambulance assist, a recovered property, a welfare concern and a malicious mischief.
Oxford police investigated 10 wrecks with no injuries, issued 40 traffic citations and made four arrests on the following charges: a domestic violence – juvenile, a running a stop sign with DUI to first degree, a driving wrong way on one way street with DUI to first degree, and a speeding with no car insurance and with a DUI to first degree.
University police responded to the following incidents: a vandalism at Crosby Hall, a possession of alcohol at Luckyday Residential College, another vandalism at Crosby Hall, a reported harassment to the UPD office, a reported larceny to the UPD office, and a motor vehicle accident on Manning Way.
The UPD crime report from Wednesday, Dec. 10, that was previously down: a petit larceny at National Food Service Management Institute, an accidental hit and run at Old Athletics complex, a motor vehicle accident with property damage at Hefley Hall, and a petit larceny at J.D. Williams Library.
Oxford Fire Dept. did not receive any calls yesterday.
