On Wednesday, February 11, 2015, Investigators of the Oxford police department charged Victoria Ivy, 28 of Oxford, with Aggravated Domestic Violence.
On Tuesday, February 10, 2015 officers responded to Vaughn Circle for an ambulance assist. Officers found a man bleeding from the chest. The male was stabbed with a knife twice by Ivy. Ivy stabbed him once in the shoulder and once in the chest. Ivy was charged with Aggravated Domestic Violence {97-3-7(4)}. Her bond was set at $2500.00.

Oxford police responded to the following incidents: five suspicious activities, three frauds, two noise complaints, two alarms, two petit larcenies, two auto-burglaries at Lafayette Place and Rubin Drive, a trespassing, a welfare concern, a civil matter, an animal complaint, a lost property and a simple assault.

Oxford police investigated nine wrecks, issued 52 traffic citations, and made 11 arrests on the following charges: (3) possession of drug paraphernalia, (3) minor in possession of alcohol, a possession of schedule 1 narcotics, a public intoxication, a shoplifting, a possession of schedule 3 narcotics, and a driving with improper equipment, no insurance and also a suspended driver’s license.

University police responded to the following incidents: a petit larceny at Crosby Hall and a possession of drug paraphernalia at Kincannon Hall.

Oxford Fire Department responded to one call: a smoke detector activated by smoking at Kappa Alpha house.
