Early Dismissal Announced for OSD Today

The Oxford School District students will dismiss early today based on current winter weather conditions as announced by the Lafayette County Emergency Management Agency and the National Weather Service.

Early dismissal times for the Oxford School District are:

1:55 p.m. — Bramlett Elementary School, Oxford Elementary School, Della Davidson Elementary School, Oxford Intermediate School, Scott Center

3 p.m. — Oxford Middle School, Oxford High School, Oxford Learning Center, Oxford

Buses will begin their routes at each school’s early dismissal time. Oxford School District officials will follow our established emergency weather procedures. The safety of school students is the district’s first priority.

All school-related activities and events are cancelled for this afternoon and this evening. Also, today’s Oxford School District Board of Trustees meeting is cancelled.

The Oxford School District remains on alert and will continue to be until the possibility of inclement weather has passed. Parents and employees will be notified of any further changes to the school schedule via the district’s automated phone messaging system, website, social media outlets and the OSD e-newsletter.
