Oxford police responded to the following incidents: five suspicious activities, two alarms, a welfare concern, an improper parking, a disturbance, a trespassing, a harassment, a domestic violence, an animal complaint, a 911 hang up call, a careless driver, and a burglary at University Arbors.
Oxford police investigated three wrecks, issued 19 traffic citations and made six arrests on the following charges: a DUI; a possession of drug paraphernalia; a minor in possession of alcohol and littering; a careless driving with DUI; a domestic violence; and a shoplifting.
University Police Department responded to the following incidents: a report of a suspicious person and harassing phone calls at Northgate Apartments, a possession of drug paraphernalia at Stockard Hall, a service call for a welfare concern and an ambulance at Stewart Hall, a possession of one ounce or less of marijuana with possession of a controlled substance at Northgate Apartments, a petit larceny at Burns Hall, a suspicious vehicle at Blackburn-McMurray Comp., a vehicle accident in Big Valley lot, and a report of a harassing email at Triplett Alumni Center.
Oxford Fire Department is currently responding to calls.
