After a strong run during the 2014-15 season, the Hardwood Rebels are adding a solid new piece in the offseason.
Miami Hurricanes guard Deandre Burnett has been on the lookout for a new home, and his tweet this morning clarified he would head to Oxford. Not surprisingly, Rebels rejoiced.
Burnett must sit out next season per NCAA rules and then will have two years of eligibility remaining beginning with the 2016-17 season. He averaged 7.0 points last season for the Hurricanes.
See you around campus soon and on the court next year!
