Northwest Fall Registration Just Around the Corner


Registration for the 2015 fall semester at Northwest Mississippi Community College is just around the corner.

Open registration and orientation for day classes for students who have not previously registered will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 12 and Thursday, Aug. 13 on all Northwest campuses. Open registration for evening classes will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 11 from 4:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. on all three campuses.

Open registration for day classes will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the DeSoto and Oxford campuses, and from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the Senatobia campus. On the Senatobia campus, registration will be held in the Haraway Center.

Returning students will complete their registration online through Tuesday, Aug. 11. New students who complete orientation and have an ACT score of 17 or higher may register online, as well. Students may register for Northwest eLearning’s online classes August 11-13.

Day classes begin on Friday, Aug. 14. Evening classes begin Monday, Aug. 17. Late registration will begin Aug. 17 and end Aug. 21.

Reginald Smith, director of Financial Aid, announced that Financial Aid staff will be in the Haraway Center, Room 104, and on the other campuses to assist students with financial aid questions during registration. On the Senatobia campus, Financial Aid staff will be in the Haraway Center during registration from Aug. 11-13, but will return to their office in Yalobusha Hall, Suite 103 on Aug. 14.

As of this date, all Northwest residence halls are full, and there is a waiting list, according to the Northwest Housing office.
