Angelica Crowell – Credit Card Fraud

On Thursday, October 26, 2015, investigators charged Angelica Crowell, 25 of Booneville, with one count of Credit Card Fraud (97-19-21). Crowell was caught using a stolen debit card at seven different locations in Oxford. Crowell has been arrested and her bond was set at $2,500.

Oxford police responded to the following incidents: nine disturbances, five alarms, four suspicious activities, two welfare concerns, two ambulance assists, two petit larcenies, two 911 hang up calls, two civil matters, a simple assault, a recovered property, an improper parking, a credit card fraud, a fire department assist, an embezzlement, a shoplifting, a auto burglary at The Brittany Store, and harassing phone calls.

Oxford police investigated eight wrecks, issued 14 traffic citations and made six arrests on these following charges:
Fake ID
Warrant served
Noise Violation
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Careless driving and possession of drug paraphernalia
One headlight, suspended driver’s license and possession of drug paraphernalia with a warrant served

University police responded to the following incidents: two vehicle stops, a public drunk at Stockard Hall, a public drunk at Martin Hall, a possession of alcohol by minor at Crosby Hall, a report of a suspicious vehicle at Kappa Delta house, and a traffic detail on Chucky Mullins Drive.

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
Smoking limb at 7:40 a.m. caused by a power line down on a tree limb at Turnberry Condos
Grass fire at 3:20 p.m. when an 18 wheeler pulled a phone line down at Highway 7 South / CR 322 area
Inspection at 4:13 p.m. when residents installed at CO detector and wanted the fire department to ensure they installed it correctly at 1500 A South 16th Street Ext.
