Oxford Crime Report: Monday, November 2
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: five alarms, five suspicious activities, three harassment, two disturbing the peace, two parking complaints, two simple assaults, two animal complaints, a welfare concern, a larceny, a civil matter, a motorist assist, and a malicious mischief.
Oxford police investigated seven wrecks, issued 17 traffic citations and made six arrests on the following charges:
Possession of marijuana
Grand larceny with felony fleeing
Out-of-jurisdiction warrant served
DUI to first degree with careless driving
Speeding with a suspended driver’s license
No car tag, no car insurance and a suspended driver’s license
University police responded to the following incidents: three vehicle stops, a service call for an ambulance at Delta Gamma house, a traffic detail on Chucky Mullins Drive, a vehicle accident at Alpha Omicron Pi house, and a vehicle accident on University Avenue.
