The Grove was an exciting place this weekend. Ole Miss baseball players, now in the pros, met in the Grove for Saturday’s game.

Former members of the Ole Miss baseball team, Hawtin Buchanan, Josh Laxer, Auston Bousfield and Sikes Orvis, who came to Ole Miss as freshmen together in the fall of 2011, all enjoyed getting together in the Grove before the Ole Miss-Arkansas game.

They were drafted by pro teams and are representing Ole Miss in playing pro-baseball. Buchanan is with Clinton LumberKings. Josh Laxer is with Connecticut Tigers. Auston Bousfield is with San Antonio Missions. Sikes Orvis is with Great Falls Voyagers.

Several are on campus this fall working toward degrees.
