Oxford Crime Report: Friday – Sunday, 6 – 8
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: 18 suspicious activities, 16 disturbances, 14 alarms, eight improper parking, eight lost properties, seven welfare concerns, six malicious mischiefs, four civil matters, four ambulance assists, three simple assaults, three petit larcenies, three careless driving, two 911 hang up calls, two trespassings, two harassments, two fire department assists, a recovered property, a code violation, and a noise violation.
Oxford police investigated 21 wrecks, issued 98 traffic citations and made 54 arrests on the following charges:

Small oven fire at 7:56 p.m. at The Connection – the resident had the fire out upon arrival
