Oxford Crime Report: Tuesday, November 10


Oxford police responded to the following incidents: four disturbances, four suspicious activities, three welfare concerns, three alarms, three noise violations, a motorist assist, a lost property, a careless driving, a malicious mischief, a simple assault, a scam and an ambulance assist.

Oxford police investigated 10 wrecks, issued 19 traffic citations and made two arrests on the following charges:
Cutting corners with a suspended driver’s license
Expired tag, suspended driver’s license, no insurance and a warrant served

University police responded to the following incidents: 10 vehicle stops.

Oxford Fire Department staff is observing the Veteran’s Day. They will respond to emergencies all day and night, however.
