Oxford Crime Report: Wednesday, December 2

Oxford police responded to the following incidents: six alarms, four suspicious activities, three 911 hang up calls, two disturbances, two trespassing, a motorist assist, a welfare concern, a counterfeit currency, a civil matter, a petit larceny, and a simple assault.

Oxford police investigated five wrecks, issued 18 traffic citations and made five arrests on the following charges:
(2) Possession of drug paraphernalia
Public intoxication
Careless driving and DUI
No insurance nor a driver’s license

University police responded to the following incidents: five vehicle stops, a smoking violation with a trespassing and a possession of drug paraphernalia at Deaton Hall, a warrant served at Kincannon Hall, and a fraud at Martindale Hall.

Oxford Fire Department received no calls yesterday.
