This is the first time since 1970 that the Rebels will take part in this luxury game.
Fans might be wanting to know what would be the best way to get down to New Orleans for New Years and watch coach Hugh Freeze and his team play for a shot at winning the Sugar Bowl trophy.
On Sunday afternoon, athletic director Ross Bjork stated that the University has only been allotted 15,000 tickets for the game with about 3,000 of those going to students and football players, staff and administrators.
“By the time we take care of our players and our internal needs, there’s only about 12,000 available to our donors and to our season ticket holders,” Bjork said.
“There’s going to be a lot of Ole Miss fans looking for tickets, and I think there will be blue and red all over the place in New Orleans.”
Season ticket holders can go to the ole miss athletic website and put in for tickets.
Fans can also go to the Sugar Bowl website and obtain tickets for the game that way. Also on this site people can select packages on the game.
