Oxford Crime Report: Wednesday, December 9
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: six alarms, three suspicious activities, two fire department assists, two disturbances, two 911 hang up calls, a noise violation, a petit larceny, a welfare concern, a careless driving, a public intoxication, a credit card fraud, a harassing phone call, a littering, and a motorist assist.
Oxford police investigated 11 wrecks, issued eight traffic citations and made three arrests on the following charges:
Shoplifting
Careless driving with no seatbelt
Careless driving, no driver’s license and DUI
University police responded to the following incidents: a vehicle stop on Hathorn Road, larceny of bicycles at Union, disturbance of peace with vandalism, a petit larceny at Crosby Hall, a petit larceny at Campus Walk, a possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of alcohol by minor at Minor Hall, and a traffic detail on Hathorn Road.
