Nkemdiche Apologizes for His Actions Last Weekend
Robert Nkemdiche issued a statement on this past weekend’s incident to the media via the Ole Miss Athletics.
He apologized to “the Rebel Nation, his teammates and his coaches.” Read the rest of the statement below.
Coach Freeze had a press conference yesterday where he said he would be having a longer discussion with Robert Nkemdiche. Whether he will play in the Sugar Bowl remains unknown now.

I hope Coach Freeze doesn’t let either of the Nkemdiche boys play in an Ole Miss uniform again. If they cared for their teammates as much as they care for themselves, they wouldn’t make such stupid choices. They have set very poor examples for young players and recruits. I would rather lose without them than win with them. I say good riddance.

I read that marijuana was found in Robert’s room. If that was all he was using, then I say let him play. All this national movement to legalize marijuana has young people thinking it isn’t wrong to smoke a little. The Nkemdiche brothers aren’t your typical black athletes. Their Dad is a Cardiologist in Atlanta and their Mom is in politics in Africa.
