CoSIDA Academic All-America honoree Jessica Hiskey was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Scholar All-South Region Team, the organization announced.
Hiskey earned third team honors after completing her senior campaign with a 3.92 GPA majoring in chemistry. The Franklin, Tennessee native was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Second Team following the Rebels’ historic season, and was also a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection.
On the pitch, Hiskey was named a NSCAA All-South Region Second Team selection, as well as an All-SEC Second Team selection, becoming the first Rebel defender to earn that honor since the 2011 season.
She finished her career starting in 55-straight matches and led the team in minutes played in 2015. Following Samantha Sanders’ injury in late September, Hiskey moved to the backline, where she helped record five shutouts for the Rebels.
