Oxford police responded to the following incidents: four disturbing the peace, four suspicious activities, three false pretenses, two fire department assists, two 911 hang up calls, an alarm, an ambulance assist, a burglary, an auto burglary, an animal complaint, a domestic violence per simple assault, a grand larceny and a malicious mischief.
Oxford police investigated three wrecks, issued 10 traffic citations and made seven arrests on the following charges:

Child neglect
Simple assault
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Careless driving, DUI to first degree
Ran a stop sign with DUI to first degree
University police responded to the following incidents: a vehicle stop on Jackson Avenue, and a service call for an ambulance to the J.D. Williams Library.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
Sprinkler system alarm activated at 3:41 p.m. by a drop in the water pressure at Kroger
Electrical outlet shorted out at 5:53 p.m. at 1014 Booker Road
All smoke detectors beeped at 9:08 p.m. at 2095 Old Taylor Road – resident was advised to change batteries
