The No. 12 Ole Miss Rebels went through the final full practice of the 2015 season Wednesday, preparing for Friday night’s game versus No. 16 Oklahoma State in the Allstate Sugar Bowl. The team also visited patients at the Children’s Hospital of New Orleans during the afternoon.

Prior to practice, the Ole Miss seniors, several underclassmen and head coach Hugh Freeze volunteered time out of their busy schedules to visit kids at the local children’s hospital. The players gave hats, footballs and books to the young patients while signing the items and posing for pictures. Throughout the visit, the players put smiles on all of the kids’ faces, brightening their day.

Ole Miss returned to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome for one final practice before playing in the ninth Sugar Bowl in school history. It also marked the last practice of the 2015 season; some players and coaches took time to take pictures with one another on the field to remember the occasion.

Tomorrow, Freeze will hold a press conference at 9 a.m. to discuss the New Year’s Day classic against the Cowboys. The full transcript from that Sugar Bowl press conference will be published on OleMissSports.com later in the morning.

Rebel fans can also attend an Ole Miss pep rally tomorrow evening as part of the Allstate Fan Fest. The fun begins at 5:15 at 418 North Peters Street in the French Quarter, adjacent to Jax Brewery.

Ole Miss and Oklahoma State will face off in the 82nd Allstate Sugar Bowl, Jan. 1, at 7:30 p.m. CT. As the final game on New Year’s Day, the game will be broadcast in primetime on ESPN.
