Oxford Police Investigate Armed Robbery at Regions
Oxford police report an armed robbery took place at Regions Bank ATM at approximately 5:12 a.m. this morning.
According to the police, the robber who is identified as a black male approached the victim from behind. The robber wore dark clothes and had a red bandana over his face. As he approached he pointed a weapon at the victim while demanding money. Upon receiving the money, he fled the scene.
Major Jeff McCutchen said in the media release: “Officers and investigators are out working at this time. We are working with the bank to gather photos. Once we have some we will make them available. If you have any information, please contact us at 662-232-2400 or CrimeStoppers at 662-234-8477.”
