Eddie Booker Jr. Aggravated Domestic Violence
On Sunday January 17, Oxford police officers arrested Eddie Booker (35 years of age, of Oxford) Police responded to a call about a disturbance at Anderson Estates Apartments. The police officers arrested Booker after they arrived on scene and found the assaulted victim. Booker was transported to jail and his bond was set at $5,000.
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: four disturbances, four welfare concerns, four alarms, three suspicious activities, two petit larcenies, two 911 hang-up calls, a careless driving, a noise violation, a malicious mischief, a scam, a motorist assist and an improper parking.
Oxford police investigated one wreck, issued 36 traffic citations and made 11 arrests on the following charges:
(2) Possessions of drug paraphernalia
(2) Shopliftings
Warrant served
Speeding and DUI
Public intoxication
Speeding, no driver’s license and DUI
No seatbelt, expired tag, no insurance and DUI
Careless driving, expired tag, one headlight and DUI
Wrong way on a one-way, possession of drug paraphernalia and DUI
University police responded to the following incidents: seven vehicle stops, an intoxicated person off-campus, a larceny at Phi Kappa Tau fraternity house, and a possession of alcohol in Martin Hall.
