Being perfect is not easy, but a handful of Oxford students recently achieved academic perfection.

Oxford School District students who made the highest possible scores on specific sections of state standardized tests that they took during the 2014-2015 school year are Aiden Addy, fifth-grade science; Eve Gershon, eighth-grade English Language Arts; Edmund Doerkson, sixth-grade mathematics; Luke Radigan, fifth-grade science; Luke Farese, third-grade mathematics; and, Siena Cizdziel, eighth-grade mathematics.

State assessments, or state tests, are used to measure Mississippi’s academic standards—benchmarks of quality and excellence in public education.
