Ole Miss Freshman Crowned ‘Most Beautiful’ 2016

Wednesday night, the University of Mississippi’s Student Activities Association crowned Laine Mansour, freshman from Tupelo, as the 2016 Most Beautiful at the 65th annual Parade of Beauties.

The parade of beauties was lengthy tonight as the 92 contestants from all over Mississippi and states across the U.S. competed for the title.

The judging was narrowed down to the following nine of the Top 10 contestants before announcing the winner:

    Elyssa Howell
    France Beard
    Hunter Schleicher
    Rivers Countess
    Stephanie Weiss
    Bridget Hancock
    Blair Wordsmith
    Savannah Buchanan
    Christine Williamson
    Kathleen Lovelace

 

The annual event, sponsored by the Student Activities Association, featured entertainment by Miss University 2016 Carol Coker and Hinge Dance Company. Coker also presented this event with 2015 Homecoming Queen Heather Nelson and Brady Bramlett, the pitcher for the Ole Miss baseball team.

ROTC members D.J. Lorbecke, Kendall Jenkins, Mitchell Nelson and Dustin Dykes escorted the 92 contestants.
