The No. 15 ranked Ole Miss rifle team competed in the NCAA Qualifier Saturday at the Gamecock Rifle Range on the campus of Jacksonville State University.
The Rebels finished with a 4616 aggregate score, including a 2280 in smallbore and a 2336 in air rifle.
Trump, Villa Score Personal Best in Smallbore…
Freshman Allison Villa shot a personal best 572 in smallbore to lead the Rebels. Sophomore Jessica Haig had a 571 and junior Alison Weisz a 570. Sophomore Kristyn Trump fired a personal best 576 as an individual in smallbore.
Weisz Leads the Way in Air Rifle…
Alison Weisz paced the Rebels in air rifle with a 591. It marks her seventh score in the 590s in 13 matches this season. She will find out this upcoming week if her scores this season are good enough to earn a third straight trip to the NCAA Championships. Freshman Harley Gardner and Jessica Haig tied with a 584.

“We had some personal bests, which are great. However, we left some points on the board as a team. Now, it’s just a waiting game to see who will get invites for the NCAA Championships.”
