Today Is Last Day for Ole Miss Students to Attend Grad Fair 2016

Attention all upcoming Ole Miss Graduates! This is week is The University of Mississippi Grad Fair 2016. The Grad Fair is an event organized by the University and Public Events office to ensure students have everything in order for their upcoming graduation.

The fair is being held on the Oxford Campus on the second floor of the Student Union in the Ole Miss Student Union Ballroom.

There is still time to attend the Grad Fair! The time for today, Thursday, March 10 are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

There are many booths ready to give any information necessary to graduates and to help with any questions or concerns.

The Registrar Office is there to explain the necessary steps for degree application. Grad Images has a booth available for students to take their Cap & Gown pictures, and personnel from the Ole Miss Bookstore are available to measure and take orders for Cap & Gown. Herff-Jones is also there to take class ring and invitation orders.

There are many other booths for graduating students to take advantage of as well. The Career Center booth has Career Center professionals available to help students with anything they need regarding their future career path.

A Career Center professional, Wesley Dickens, said, “We can work on resumes, applications, cover letters, interviewing skills, and personal statements for those students attending graduate school.”

Graduating students are highly encouraged to take advantage of this helpful organization at the fair.

Another booth many students will want to visit is The Ole Miss Alumni Association booth, as they will be accepting registrations.

One of the association’s employees, Ashley Smith, said, “If students register before with The Ole Miss Alumni Association before commencement, they will receive a grad pack which includes a shirt, a hat, a calendar, a magazine, and a business card holder.”

Joining the Ole Miss Alumni Association is a great way for graduating students to stay connected to Ole Miss for life. More information on the Ole Miss Alumni Association is available at their booth.

The University and Public Events office is available to answer any questions regarding Commencement and strongly encourages upcoming graduates to attend. The grad fair is graduating students one stop shop for registration.
