Oxford police responded to the following incidents: 19 alarms, 12 suspicious activities, 10 noise violations, seven disturbances, seven careless drivers, five welfare concerns, four illegally parked cars, four petit larcenies, four harassing phone calls, three animal complaints, three complaints of lost properties, three residential burglaries (two at Molly Barr Ridge and one on Augusta Drive), two civil matters, two malicious mischief, two fire department assists, two ambulance assists, a public intoxication, a motorist assist, a recovered property, a trespassing, a 911 hang up call, a credit card fraud and a grand larceny.
Oxford police investigated 20 wrecks, issued 60 traffic citations and made — arrests on the following charges:

Simple assault – domestic violence at Residential College

Testing fire alarm system at 2:22 p.m. at Baptist Memorial Hospital
Saturday, April 2
Flowerbed fire at 5:08 a.m. at 1401 Greenway Cove
Smoke detector activation at 5:52 a.m. by water leaking onto it at The Retreat (No.49)
Smoke detector malfunction at 7:53 a.m. in dry storage at Hermitage Gardens
Wreck with entrapment at 8:13 a.m. at 1803 West Jackson Avenue
Reported gas spill at 3:02 p.m. at Molly Barr and North Lamar area – Oxford police reported a gas spill where a trail of diesel fuel went down CR 101, but the source was not located.
Fire alarm at 6:38 p.m. pulled by a resident at Oxford Health and Rehab
Wreck with entrapment at 7:35 p.m. at the Highway 7 and 9 split
Cancelled call at 8:49 p.m. at Highway 6 East
Wreck at 11:39 p.m. at Bramlett Boulevard and East Jackson Avenue – the fire department extricated the victim and performed first aid until an ambulance arrived
Sunday, April 3
Cancelled call at 6:30 a.m. at Oxford Health and Rehab
Smoke detector activated at 7:33 a.m. at Hermitage Gardens
