Chick-fil-A Hosts Nika Spirit Night
In August of 2014, Nika was neglected to the point of malnutrition by her biological mother in Haiti. Ole Miss graduate Sarah Conque worked with Nika’s mother to better care for her. Conque obeyed God’s call and took it upon herself to become Nika’s caretaker and mom.
Lance Reed, owner of Oxford’s Chick-fil-A, and his wife Amanda felt led to host a dine in from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to help raise money for Nika’s medical expenses.
Amanda said, “How many times do we put God in a box? Sarah didn’t say, ‘I am not married yet. I can’t take care of a baby on my own.’ No, she just said yes, Jesus, I will take care of your child.”

“Let’s help support Sarah Conque, our very own Ole Miss grad, who has been and is being the hands and feet of Jesus to Nika,” Amanda said. “We really believe God is going to bless this night tremendously. We want you to be a part of this if you can. Let’s show Sarah and Nika some Oxford Love.”
