MDOT: Bridge Repair on Highway 6 in Panola County

The Mississippi Department of Transportation is issuing an alert that crews will be repairing on Highway 6 (U.S. 278) at the Little Tallahatchie River Bridge in Panola County.

MDOT’s Michael Flood said in the email alert: “There will be alternating lane closures in both directions and flagmen will be present to direct traffic. The work is expected to have a moderate traffic impact, specifically during morning school commutes. Motorists are advised to use caution and be aware of roadside workers during the duration of the bridge repair.”

The construction will take place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. beginning today, Wednesday, May 11 through Friday, May 13.
