Out of 28 competitors, Oxford’s Andrea Hightower was ranked among the Top Five in Miss World America beauty pageant.
Andrea Hightower is an ambassador of National Association of Mental Illnesses (NAMI), which is based in Jackson, Mississippi. She is grateful to have competed in this pageant, saying that Miss World America has several aspects that make it a competition to find the most well-rounded individual instead of the most beautiful.
The winner of Miss World America is Audra Mari of Fargo, North Dakota. She will go on to compete in Miss World, the oldest international beauty pageant, and among most publicized competitions.
