Oxford police responded to the following incidents: six alarms, six 911 hang-up calls, three malicious mischiefs, three illegally parked cars, three welfare concerns, two petit larcenies, two scams, a public intoxication, a suspicious activity, a shoplifting, an obstruction of traffic, a harassing phone call, and a reported DUI.
Oxford police investigated six wrecks, issued 30 traffic citations and made one arrest for careless driving and DUI.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department responded to the following incidents: four service calls, four disturbances, three suspicious activities, two transportations, two animal complaints, an alarm, a grand larceny, a recovered stolen vehicle, a follow-up and a residential burglary (County Road 259 area).
University police responded to the following incidents: seven vehicle stops, a speeding on campus, a suspicious vehicle and an intoxicated person at Martin Hall.

Fire alarm activation at 10:27 a.m. due to pressure washing at Lafayette Place Building 4000
Grass fire at 11:29 a.m. that went out upon arrival at 444 Cherokee Drive
Medical assistance at 12:09 p.m. due to no ambulance being available for a seizure at the Student Union
Person stuck in an elevator at 6:51 p.m. caused by a power outage at Alpha Delta Pi house
Fire alarm malfunction at 7:49 p.m. in the basement of Guyton Hall
