Daughter of Dr. Michael & Kim Perry Writes Touching Note to Community
Sarah Perry, the daughter of Dr. Michael & Kim Perry, has taken to Facebook thanking the thousands of people who have reached out with their thoughts and prayers following the deadly plane crash that killed three Oxford couples.

I was a patient of your dad. He was the nicest dentist I have ever been to and made me feel at ease instantly. He was very proud of all his children as he displayed their art work all through his office in Southaven. He and your mom have raised a very strong young lady and they will guide you in your future endeavors. God has you and your family in his hands.

Sarah, this is beautifully written and shows that your mom and dad have done a great job in raising you. I am a close friend of your grandma, Patsy, and will be there Saturday to celebrate the lives of your parents. Patsy and I share our love of our children, grandchildren and their accomplishments. God is with you and will help guide you through your future. Know that there are many, many prayers being said for your family here in Little Rock.

Sarah, I too know your pain. Both my parents were killed in a single engine plane crash in Tallahassee, FL in Jan 1975, my Senior year in High School. I never knew something so painful and still I am almost 60 & have had to overcome alot. I had a great HS priest that helped me realize it was their time to go. When we are born God knows our expiration date & HE called them. Stay strong!! I admire you for already knowing that you need to be there for your siblings but allow yourself to grieve. I am sending you HUGS & keeping all you in my prayers!!!

You are a strong, mature, young lady!!!! Your parents are smiling down on you and are so proud of you and your faith in GOD!!!!! Don’t forget to take care of yourself as you are taking care of so many others… I never had a daughter but if I had I would have been more than blessed if she was as strong as you!!! GOD bless you and your family !!!!

Sarah, you are an amazing person. I have never met you but your note confirms that. The Westerfields were our next door neighbors in Brandon. Our children played together a lot. I always said that Kim was almost a perfect person. I also knew the Perrys and Michael was such an outstanding person. How wonderful that they found each other and raised such a wonderful daughter. I can not begin to express the sadness I have in my heart for you and your family.. What a tragic loss!
Dr. Perry was my DR. I can not say enough good things about him. Always a smile on his face and a handshake asking me how I am doing. Talking calmly to me as he did dental work.
I loved he and his staff. He took time to share with me some of his adventure on his recent mission trip and how he wanted his son to appreciate his style of life and see what others did not have.. And how he and other dentiest has helped so many other people. NOT bragging about it, but sharing.
He and your Mother will be so proud of you and I pray for your strength and faith to continue.

I read this thinking how strong you are ! But sweetheart its okay not to be the only strong one for your siblings. Its okay to cry and miss them , its okay to let your guard down and let the adults be the adults. Let you keep on being a young person. But it is okay for you to also stand up and help. Give yourself time to heal. Nothing like loosing a parent. But both of them , I don’t think it has sunk in yet. Grieve now or you will suffer later. Love now let someone love you . God has this for sure ! I think of you daily as I didn’t know you , my daughter seen your dad for some work. Great Guy ! I pray God wraps his loving arms around you and know he is now your Father , he will love and provide and comfort you as your earthly father did. God Bless and I will continue to pray for you and your siblings and the rest of your precious family.

I didn’t know either couples and l don’t how to know them. My heart hurt to hear such sad tragedy of losing so many lives at one time. My deepest condolences goes out to all of the families especially the kids. When losing both parents is devastating l have experience it. I want to say to the kids keep trusting and believing in the Lord he will give you all the strength you’ll need.
