Hancock County Youth Leadership Academy Tours Ole Miss As Part Of College Familiarization Tour
The Hancock County Youth Leadership Academy has spent the last two days taking tours of the different campuses in Mississippi for their fourth annual College Familiarization Tour. They visited USM, MSU and Ole Miss during those two days.
School supporter George Williams said, “The leader of our program is Rhonda Rhodes, whose daughter just graduated from the University. [She] asked me to help her put the Ole Miss visit together. She specified that they would like to put the majority of their focus on the Meek School of Journalism.”
This year’s group consisted of 29 students and four adults that gained exposure of the University and the Meek School of Journalism and New Media.
