Lexi Kump, Rebel fan, and Jordan Caviness, a die-hard Alabama fan, got engaged under the Walk of Champions.
“I had always dreamed of having a proposal at Ole Miss because it’s my home away from home,” Kump said. “We were in town for the Ole Miss/Georgia Southern game because his sister was a cheerleader at Georgia Southern; so, his whole family was here. It was their first time in the Grove; so, of course, we had to show them how amazing the Grove was. After the game, we were walking up the Walk of Champions, we took a group picture, then Jordan and I stayed back to take a couples picture. That’s when it all happened!”
Kump is a recent graduate of Ole Miss and a Kappa Alpha Theta alum. Caviness works as a sales rep for an electrical distributor in Atlanta. They are getting married this summer on July 15 at the First United Methodist Church in Flora, Mississippi, and the reception will be at The Gin in Flora.
